Your story stays personal.
DDIYA privacy notice · Updated 23 October 2026.
What we receive
When you contact DDIYA, we receive the name, contact details, correspondence, reference photographs and commission information you choose to send. When an order proceeds, we also need delivery and transaction details. Please share only what is necessary and photographs you have permission to use.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond, prepare designs and quotations, make and deliver your commission, and handle aftercare. Reference photographs and enquiries are used only for your commission. We do not publish your photographs or use them for marketing without separate permission.
Who handles it
Access is limited to people and service providers needed to carry out the work, including our design and craft team, email and hosting providers, and delivery providers when required. We share only the information needed for that purpose. These providers may process information outside your country. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We retain your reference photographs and enquiry correspondence for one year, then delete them unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Financial and order records that must be kept for legal or accounting purposes are handled separately; this does not give us permission to reuse your photographs.
This website
The website links to your email application to begin an enquiry; it does not upload photographs or accept payments. Its hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices & contact
Contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. We verify requests where needed and respond in accordance with applicable law. Withdrawing an enquiry or requesting deletion may prevent us from completing a commission. DDIYA is responsible for handling these requests; our contact address appears on the Contact page.
